Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Neato Dictate (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The App is provided by Neato Ventures (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

Neato Dictate is a desktop dictation application that converts your voice to text using local AI models or our cloud transcription service. Features vary by plan.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@neatoventures.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan is available at no cost and includes limited cloud transcription and meeting recording minutes per month. We reserve the right to change free plan limits with reasonable notice.

Paid Plans

Paid plans (Pro, Business) are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in USD. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate partial months.

Refunds

All paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of first payment. To request a refund within 14 days, email support@neatoventures.com. No refunds are issued after 14 days.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use Neato Dictate for any lawful purpose. You may not:

• Use the App to transcribe content that violates any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms from the App
• Use automated tools to abuse or overload our cloud transcription service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Neato Ventures. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App. We do not claim ownership of any content you transcribe.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that transcription will be 100% accurate. Use of the App is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neato Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid subscribers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Neato Ventures is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
